Student Exchange Australia is delighted to announce the winners of the latest Make Your Mark creative design competition.

First place goes to Leon Shore from NSW for his design "Tour de Mime" from the Top Ten designs which had been decided by popular vote by users of the site. The panel commented that 'Tour de Mime' was an original and creative concept which successfully abandoned clichéd images of France to make it stand out from the pack. The design had also proven extremely popular with the users of the site. Ross wins a $3,500 scholarship toward a year exchange program or $2,500 toward a semester exchange program or a laptop computer. He also gets a Dick Smith Electronics voucher valued at $100 and a Lonely Planet guide book.

Second place goes to Rebekka Lord-Johnson from NSW for her design "Vive la France ". Rebecca wins $2,000 toward a year exchange program or $1,500 toward a semester exchange program, a Dick Smith Electronics voucher valued at $100 plus a Lonely Planet guidebook. The panel commented that Rebekka's design utilised her artistic talents well to create an image of a well known landmark that still offered a sense of originality.

Third place goes to Adam Davis from the ACT for his design "Colour Your World". Adam wins $1,500 toward a year exchange program or $1,000 toward a semester exchange program, a Dick Smith Electronics voucher valued at $100 and a Lonely Planet guidebook. The panel commented that "Colour Your World" was indeed a birght and colourful design which was well suited to be worn on a t-shirt.

Congratulations to Leon, Rebekka, and Adam for their success and to the remaining top 10 finalists who will each receive Dick Smith Electronics gift vouchers. Thanks also to everyone who submitted designs and took part in the comp.

The new comp will start on or around Monday 11th January 2010.
