Concept statement

Many concepts were developed in this compeition for Move. I wanted to create something original which directly related to Move and was original. But most of all i didn't want to re-create a cliche'. So i thought of a Scooter.

Where in the world would you go to and why?

I'd really like to go to Europe someday, mainly France for some reason. I think the idea of eating crossonts with bacon and cheese for breakfast everyday sounds good. Aswell as Europe even tropical places like Thailand, China and Japan even though Japan isn't that tropical. Actually anywhere in the world would be good.

Favourite stuff?

Bands: Queens of the Stoneage, Bloc Party, Strokes, Sarah Mclachlan, The Used, My Chemical Romance, The Killers, The Hives, Scissor Sisters, Bravery, No Doubt, John Mayer, Powderfiniger, Jack Johnson, Nirvana. Item: iPod and my Camera. Pastime: Music, Piano, Designing/Art and ofcourse Photography. Mag: Anything with Design or Architecture like Monument, Aa, Artichoke.

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

Dave Hughes - Endless hours of laughter, Sarah Mclachlan - Soothing music to our ears. And one of my best friends who ever who would ever want to come to a deserted island.

What will you be doing in 10 years?

Well i will be 26, hopefully back after traveling throughout Europe and working as a Graphic Designer or similiar in a small firm with some good mates.

Why should you win this competition?

I think the experience this competition gives us is one of a kind. To have our designs viewed by so many people, and to have feedback and comments upon the design. Being in the top ten for the second time running is a great thrill, and I'm still pretty stoked about it. Prizes, i think its just a bonus to this experience. I'd really love to travel abroad, but then again i am happy with anything. I really don't think it's a case of why should i win. After all its what other people think of my design and whether it is good enough or if it appeals to people and their tastes.
