Concept statement

i was trying think of all the different ways that the theme go can be expressed....a way that someone hasnt done before. for this design i took the letters of go and thought of words starting with those letters...in this case 'get out'....having the message of actually going and getting out there into the world. this design is simple and wearable, i wanted to create a design that people would want to wear.

Where in the world would you go to and why?

Definitely New York!!!! where the city never sleeps and the environment is absolutely amazing!!! after going there for a holiday i fell in love with the atmosphere!! i would love to go and study there, or even work there since there is a great amoount of opportunity for a fashion chick like me!!

Favourite stuff?

camera, pasta, cookie-dough icecream, shopping, PS2, television, my bed, alicia keys, hating alison ashely, jigsaw puzzles, computer, being lazy, designing, visual arts, black eyed peas, save the last dance, ever after, serendipity, n.e.r.d, all horror movies, krispy kremes, fashion magazines, kanye west and............

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

i would take my mum cos shes the best, alicia keys because i admire her and and an all round handy-person who can help us survive.

What will you be doing in 10 years?

in 10 years i'll be 27....i hope to have a heaps successful fashion designing career with my own company living the fulfilled life ive always dreamed of. and so i hope to be designing still as well as completing my 'things i want to do in life' list.

Why should you win this competition?

i should win this competition because im cool!!....hahaha....jokes.....winning this competition would be a great start up point for my future career...which obviously is fashion designing. i have truly tried to think of creative ideas to relate to the theme 'go' and did my best to express them. it would be super great for me to come first but....everyone deserves to win....for sure. plus its been fun to enter and see my work up on a website!
