Concept statement

I have been to France twice; firstly on a school trip and secondly with my family. The experience influenced my design because Landmarks of France are some of the most notable ones in the world and who can help but fall in love with them?

Where in the world would you go to and why?

I want to travel when I'm older; when I lived in England I went travelling with my family to many countries in Europe and I grew up in a multi-cultural area. This makes me want to travel anywhere I can; but I really don't have anywhere specific that I want to go to.

Favourite stuff?

My Guitar and Cello :)) I can't live without my iPod, 4424 songs and I need more... I love the Harry Potter series; I read the first one when I was 6. My favourite band is Daughtry; amazing voice, songs and lyrics!

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

Nick Baker, My Best Friend, Michael Buble...? Nick Baker is an amazing naturalist and I would feel so lucky to have him teach me survival on a desert island! My best friend and I have been best friends for just over a decade... and we are both turning 15 :) Michael Buble has a lovely voice and he would be able to entertain us with wonderful songs while I play my guitar :)

What will you be doing in 10 years?

Studying Criminal Law and Forensic Science in University :)

Why should you win this competition?

I found it a surprise to be in the Top 10, so I feel proud of myself and the others who all got this far! It's the first time I have ever designed something like this and I feel like it fulfils the criteria of 'Vive La France'. I certainly think all the designs in the Top Ten are wonderful; just to be in the same group as them has left me in a bit of a confused state haha :)
