Concept statement

The very first thoughts that strolled into my head when thinking of the theme "USA" happened to be its one of a kind street culture and its stand-out, internationally recognised icons - so I went ahead and created a design based on those two very aspects

Where in the world would you go to and why?

I'm weak at the knees for travelling and a embarking on a bit of adventure, so I'm torn between France, Italy and Japan. I'm swaying towards France because I am deeply intrigued by the city of Paris - the city of love, they do say!

Favourite stuff?

I would have to say sitting down with a nice, sharp pencil, my crummy old sketchbook and a box of Lindt on hand. And of course my iPod - that thing is like a first born child to me!

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

Karl Kwasny (an amazing artist, go ahead and google him) so we could do a collab whilst sharing some desert island coconut, and the two guys behind the musical masterpiece known as Ratatat, to be our muse

What will you be doing in 10 years?

I'm hoping the Anna in 10 years time will be hopping from country to country, soaking up everything the rest of the world has to offer and becoming recognised for splurging her thoughts and imagination onto paper

Why should you win this competition?

The thought alone of being able to step foot out of my comfort zone into the unknown, perhaps into the city of love or the vibrant streets of Tokyo... It gives me a very, very big thrill to say the least :)
