Concept statement

My t-shirt design represents a snow globe. I thought that this design would be effective since it is such a basic object but it has a meaning behind it. The snow globe has an earth in the background and snow falling down, representing 'cooling the planet.' To make this idea more realistic I added a snowman and a few houses. My inspiration actually came from a snow globe that I received as a Christmas present.

Where in the world would you go to and why?

Definitely Spain, I have always dreamed of going to Spain and recently I have started learning the language. I am interested in learning more the about culture, food and language and will certainly visit Spain sometime in my future.

Favourite stuff?

I love spending time with my family and friends. I also enjoy drawing, art, bikeriding, reading, listening to music, fashion, travelling, cooking, watching horror movies and playing my flute- making the most of life. My favourite cusine is thai and my favourite band is the Jonas Brothers.

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

My first instinct is to take my sister, mum and dad but then I have no strategy to get of the insland and return home. So I would take the Jonas Brothers- Joe, Nick and Kevin because not only would I get to meet my favourite band but also their dissapearance will be noticed and search parties would be after them and we would be found in no time and I would be reunited with my family.

What will you be doing in 10 years?

In 10 years time I would like to have my dream job as a famous Graphic Designer and at the same time be travelling around the world.

Why should you win this competition?

I would like to win because I would love to see my design on a t-shirt. I would like people to recognize the impact global warming has on todays society. It would be amazing to see others wearing my design and I hope that people will take this serioulsly and start reducing global warming by helping to cool the planet in their own way. Also, I have been interested in going on a student exchange programme for a while now, so this opportunity would be a rewarding and challenging life experience.
