Concept statement

My design reflects the Maori spirit highlighting their resistance to colonisation and their culture, built on strength and skill. Tribal art (the tattoo) is another aspect of the Maori culture i really wanted to emphasise as this art-form has lasted hundreds of years and still maintains its cultural significance today.

Where in the world would you go to and why?

I dont really know, there are so many places to see it really is hard to choose. Canada has been my favourite for a while now and i really want to go back, though next year i am going to London on exchange, so, I'd have to say there :P

Favourite stuff?

Just started a new band so thats right up there at the moment, its good to able to just get away from school and relax playing some chilled tunes. Also i've started a design company with one of my friends and we are currently in the proccess of setting it up, getting all teh administrative stuff down so we can get on with the fun part. Other than thats its just same old same old, i like comics, T.V. (modern family is my favorite show atm) and hanging out with my buds :)

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

Bear Grylls so i can live, and 2 clones of Bear Grylls so we can man our way off the island.

What will you be doing in 10 years?

Il be out of uni with a degree in science (probably chemistry) and engineering and hopefully be successfully employed, or, i'l be working solely for my design company

Why should you win this competition?

Because i really need a laptop for next year so i can work abroad and travel whilst still being able to design for my company and keep up with loved ones :)
