Concept statement
I wanted to make a top that was eye-catching and that people would want to wear. I chose to draw a vespa because it's a stylish Italian icon. The clouds represent the fantasy and dream of travel. The top is slightly surreal because the weight of the vespa and the lightness of clouds conflict. Hopefully people can interpret it how they like, the same way travel is a different experience for everyone.
Where in the world would you go to and why?
France! I'd love to speak French, experience the culture and eat crepes.
Favourite stuff?
Book - The Picture of Dorian Gray, Band - The Smiths, Movie - Psycho, Rebel Without a Cause. I also like playing Guitar.
What will you be doing in 10 years?
Maybe making music video clips in Iceland.
Why should you win this competition?
It would be amazing to have people wear a t-shirt I designed. I'd also love to go on exchange because I think it would be a great, unique experience.
