Concept statement

My design basically surrounded the idea of nature. I thought of the best way of expressing this to be the elements that we so often see make up nature. I tried to link this to sport through the way it flows. I incorporated the Asics logo into expressing the 4 elements and finally the last `s` on asics standing for sport, trying to make the whole process flow.

Where in the world would you go to and why?

Uhh probably somewhere less travelled like Africa. It seems a challenge but it looks really adventurous and beautiful. Also somewhere like Brazil to see the Amazon, but I like to go everywhere.

Favourite stuff?

Uhh, I love the sport of basketball, I just love playing it, and follow the american league (NBA) as well as try to follow a bit of American college basketball. I also love Stencil art. I design stencils on photoshop, cut them then spray them onto any canvas (Frame, Vinyl record, ordinary canvas, t-shirts [screen-printing]). I like to be creative. I mostly enjoy chilling with friends and getting out there.

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

I'd take The Dalia [Lama] because he would have quite a bit to say. Maybe a comedian like Dave Chapelle, or you Lastly I'd get the genie from Aladin to get me off the island if I wanted! lol

What will you be doing in 10 years?

Aww I`ll be 24 so probably working or travelling. Trying to do something cool.

Why should you win this competition?

I really love graphic design and spend time on photoshop creating designs. I think it would recognise if other people saw talent in me and would really boost my confidence. I like my design and as it has got this far think that a few others must as well so to get this far I am really happy.
