Concept statement

The design I created relates to the well known children's fun-run story "the tortoise and the hare", however my characters are a turtle & a rabbit. The image illustrates how any individual can be a winner despite who you are, using the turtle as a metaphor of this. The title 'be green' also consists of special meaning. As the colour green is universally recognised as symbolizing growth, harmony, freshness, and fertility, i have used this concept in conjunction with exercising more, using our legs to run, jog and walk aiming to be environmentally friendly and healthy rather than getting driven.

Where in the world would you go to and why?

Japan-Tokyo and France-Paris. I love the expanding-technology and design culture of Japan and the beauty of Paris.

Favourite stuff?

I love dancing especially ballet which I've been doing since I was a child. I also love being creative and working with graphics on photoshop and illustrator.

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

anyone in my family, any 'two' of my friends who would be up for a spontaneous trip to the desert

What will you be doing in 10 years?

In 10 years, i will hope to pursue a professional career in dancing, digital design and/or physiotherapy, domestic and overseas.

Why should you win this competition?

I have always been interested in exploring Japan and/or France to expand my creative ideas in designing broader!
