Concept statement
My T-shirt design is showing an unknown figure in the middle of the T-shirt with a set of headphones on with lots of artistic distractions surrounding him. It is showing you how much music can distract you from things in your normal everyday life. I kept the colours simple, i put lots of rough objects on the t-shirt making it look more eye-catching. I named it "Mr x" because i had made the person in the middle a mysterious figure, So he could not be recognized. The barbed wire is a symbol of security meaning that nothing can get in your way when you are listening to music. It is the ultimate weapon "Sound mind Sound Body".
Where in the world would you go to and why?
Japan mainly because they are very advanced in technology & designing, which I would enjoy the most. There would be many opportunities to experience in all different fields in graphic design. The people are also very nice and interesting i would love to learn and understand there culture.
Favourite stuff?
My favorite things would have to be music, sports, Aussie rules football and my book would have to be River God by Wilbur Smith. I like lots of bands to hard to choose which one i like the most.
Three people you'd take to a desert island?
I would take my friends because it would be more fun. Mainly so i could die of laughter.
What will you be doing in 10 years?
In 10 years time i will hopefully be a graphic designer or working somewhere else in that area. Enjoying life with friends and family.
Why should you win this competition?
I believe that i should win this competition because the prizes would encourage me to be a better and more efficient graphic designer. The laptop could come in handy helping me with my designing greatly. If i was to go on the exchange trip to Japan it would be awesome to meet some people from a different country. it would be interesting to learn and understand there culture, Especially there language.
