Concept statement

After entering the last couple MYM's fairly unsuccesfully, I just wanted to create something simple that related to the theme but still had depth. This design relates to taste in that the youth of today are so overwhelmed by growing social, political and economic problems that they often don't get to savour the 'taste' of their youth.

Where in the world would you go to and why?

Tibet. I've managed to visit almost every continent and a wide range of countries in my life but somehow I've never seen snow and even though Tibet is in Asia where I've spent most of my life - it's like one of the lost cultures.

Favourite stuff?

I love a lot of things right now in terms of music, movies and food, but I haven't experienced everything I'd like to experience just yet so I can't say for sure.

Three people you'd take to a desert island?

Jim Morrison, Albert Camus, and Robin Williams

What will you be doing in 10 years?

Hopefully working as a humanitarian lawyer for the United Nations.

Why should you win this competition?

Because I came up with an original idea that is wearable and actually makes a statement.
