Hayley Whitehead talks about the design:
This Theme I found very difficult. Trying to incorporate all Indigenous people, and represent them in the same image was not easy, they are all so different! I didn't want to just focus on Australia or only New Zealand. There is soo much more! So I tried thinking more generally. What do all Indigenous people share? Very often it is the connection with the Earth and Nature, they also value peace highly. My design shows the Earth, surrounded by the busyness and constant movement of the world we live in now, combined with the symbol of the "Indalo" (a carving found in a cave believed to date back around 4500 years, which depicts a man holding a rainbow over his head) placed upon the Earth and within a Peace sign. The Indalo Figure is embracing the planet. I used the Indalo Figure to represent all Indigenous people. Made 100% by me in Photoshop CS4

Cool Hayley, I like all the colours and the design. It actually works really well on a T-shirt. The indalo man with the peace symbol is a great way of celebrating the indigenous people and the world. It's awesome how it's all in one symbol.
Yeah. =) I'd wear this one!
