Hayley Whitehead talks about the design:
The Indigenous people of this Earth are very valuable. They are the jewels of the planet, their culture, their language, customs and arts are very important to all the countries identities. I tried to create a tribal style necklace incorporating symbols relating to the different major tribes of indigenous people. I included a boomerang for the Aboriginal people of Australia, a Koru, which is a Maori (New Zealand) symbol of a tree fern, representing new life and growth. The feather represents the Native American Indians, the Zulu shield in the centre represents one of the many native African tribes, and the pendant with the carving of person in the top left represents the Sámi (Saami) people indigenous to Northern Europe. I included little beads in various places to represent the other tribes and indigenous people around the globe. Using symbols as jewels worn on a necklace is my attempt to show "These people are as special, unique and valuable as Jewels and Treasure". They are the Earth's Treasure. Let’s celebrates the indigenous people of our Earth. Made 100% by me in Photoshop CS4

Wow, it's pretty! I like the idea of a necklace with the symbols on it! It's like you're wearing a real necklace on a t-shirt, and it incorperates many symbols of indigenous people all over the world. This t-shirt would stand out in a crowd, and look great on anyone.
Awesome work!
