Emily McEwan talks about the design:
Where we come from plays a major part in the shaping of our identity. The thumb print represents this identity of Australia's indigenous people and the colours on the shirt are from the Aboriginal flag. I wanted to make an artistic, abstract design without any text so that it would go nicely on a shirt. Art also plays a major part in Aboriginal culture and I have tried to replicate this style.

It's a great use of colours and contrast. I love it how its not obviously an aboriginal design but it is symbolic at the same time. It's definitely something that goes well on a shirt. It's simple, good contrast, practical. I want one!

The colours go great on the white shirt. It's a really cool, subtle design.

now this. is. fantastic! the design on the white makes it so wearable, and its a very cool shirt cos it looks really cool, and also has a significant hidden meaning. amaaazing :D
