The Tour de Donut. This was a bicycle tour that I came across when researching the American donut. This tour is entirely dedicated to the donut (literally - that deep fried circular shaped dough). Trust the Americans to come up with something like that :D Enjoy! (Completely hand drawn with fine liner and digitally edited. The basic shape of the donut was inspired by http://www.worldofstock.com/slides/PFO7708.jpg and has been altered.)

WOW! quirky! i like it! the americans can be pretty rank sometimes. but hey! that's what makes them interesting. lol, compare the pair: Tour de France vs. Tour de Donut. now, which sounds more interesting/authentic to you? ehehe, it's like the american twist on something that defs is not considered american. soooooo....where can i get one then??????

Haha, thanks. I was trying to translate the 'one-of-a-kind-ness' of the Americans and their literal creativity whilst incorporating some fact into it as well. You never know, someone who sees this may even give the Tour de Donut a try! Homer Simpson perhaps? lol
