Michelle Loreto talks about the design:
Before we go into details, I hope the design appeals to both guys and girls. I was really going for a unisex look, here. Anyway, the design shows the fusion of Earth (representative of nature) and a soccer ball (representative of sportswear). So here we have it... sportswear derived from nature. And, check it out, the Earth can also be linked to the experience of exchange - travel - seeing the world, etc. Clever, right? Totally ;D Oh, and I'd like to take a moment to dedicate this design to my friend Rachael - who is quite possibly the most awesome and patient vectorising teacher on the planet. Yayyyy!

it's an all round great design, i especially like the neutral tones and shades that really do make this a great unisex tshirt, and the integration of nature into the design is quite an achievement:D

UM, OKAY... Soooo reading around, apparently the competition was to design a LOGO?! What?! I totally missed that! So, um, if that's the case... dear Asics: only pay attention to the earthy logo bit. I guess. :/
