Congratulations to our twenty-second season winners!
Student Exchange Australia New Zealand is delighted to announce the winners of the latest Make Your Mark creative design competition. First place goes to Imogen Brush from the NSW for her design “All to be Left” from the Top Ten designs which had been decided by popular vote by users of the site. The panel commented that “All to be Left” was a creative idea which subtly infused some core issues of the International Year of the Forest. The clever use of colour was a nice touch which helped the design stand out from the pack. The design had also proven extremely popular with the users of the site. Imogen wins a saving of 35% off the price of a year exchange program or 25% off a semester exchange program or a laptop computer. She also gets a Dick Smith Electronics voucher valued at $100 and a Lonely Planet guide book. Second place goes to Melinda Fule from VIC for his design “Innocence”. Melinda wins a saving of 25% off the price of a year exchange program or 15% off a semester exchange program, a Dick Smith Electronics voucher valued at $100 plus a Lonely Planet guidebook. The panel commented that Melinda.s design utilised a strong iconic image with a well though out concept of innocence and isolation. The design is very original and contains strong imagery which looks good on a t-shirt.i Third place goes to Hiba Attar from ACT for her design “Shine The Light”. Hiba wins a saving of 15% off the price of a year exchange program or 10% off a semester exchange program, a Dick Smith Electronics voucher valued at $100 and a Lonely Planet guidebook. The panel commented that “Shine The Light” was a very simple and imaginative interpretation of the theme and we congratulate Hiba for thinking outside the square. Congratulations to Imogen, Melinda and Hiba for their success and to the remaining top 10 finalists who will each receive Dick Smith Electronics gift vouchers. Due to the high quality of designs submitted I would like to make a special mention of 2 Highly Commended Designs who came very close to making it into the Top 3. Both Sarah and Hollys design concepts were very original, where they both showed us a different perspective on the theme. Well done for putting your thinking caps on!
